Application Pre-Requisites
The Pre-Medical Honors Society at UC Berkeley strongly encourages all interested pre-medical students to apply regardless of their academic and extracurricular history. However, fulfilling the academic guidelines listed below may holistically strengthen your application. To emphasize, there are no requirements to apply, we welcome all applicants with a passion for healthcare and medicine.
For second semester freshmen:
(1) A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.70 (as shown on your transcript)
For all other applicants, including transfer students:
(1) A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50 (as shown on your transcript)
